i bought my laptop in japan and it uses windows vista home basic japanese version..i want to change it in english..i did some of the suggestions here just like that of the control panel but it did not work..please help me..How cn i change the language of my laptop frm japanese to english..?
Display Language can only be changed in Vista Ultimate edition. Can't do it on Vista Home Basic.
Only way to have English is to install the English version of Home Basic, for that you need an English Vista home basic DVD. However, you can still use your current Japanese license key (since the key is language independent, only dependent on the edition : i.e. Home basic, Home Premium, Ultimate etc..), therefore don鈥檛 have to actually purchase a new copy, only have to find an English DVD somehow.
