How can i change my laptop's language?

I have hp pavilion dv6000 windows vista i want to know which steps i've to follow in order to change its language to another? for ex( english to french or french to english) thanx for help.How can i change my laptop's language?
open control panel ---%26gt;regional and language option--%26gt;if u want to change ur pc language then click languages under drop down list. if you want to add a nother language into ur system,like want to type in french or any other language then open the language tab--%26gt;detail, and add another language keyboard

I assume you mean globally, as in for the entire operating system - you can't, it would need a different language version of Windows installed.
Unfortunately, there is no way to change the language of he laptop unless you have Windows Vista Ultimate, as Microsoft doesn't allow Basic/Home Prem./Business editions to download the Vista Ultimate Language Packs, which are done Via Updates.
